it's too thick and white for me - it doesn't want to penetrate and I feel like a Japanese geisha girl! I'll use it for a sunscreen but it is too thick for me on my face

We are sorry you had a negative experience with the application and feel of the product.
Might we suggest on your next application only apply a small amount and allowing some time for it be absorbed it before applying more if you feel it is needed. Tallow based products take a little extra time for absorption, especially when combined with other ingredients such as coconut oil and beewsax as they themselves are also thick in consitency. The non nano zinc oxide will indeed give a white appearance, but if applied minimally should absorb in leaving next to no trace. Approximately 20 minutes when applied minimal for the appearance to fade.
This cream is designed to handle the dry stressors of the environment for those who spend alot of time outdoors with its thick consistency. We unfortunatly can not provide a SPF rating for this product, so please take extra sunsafe precautions if you choose to apply it as a sunscreen.
